In Canada, a construction accident saw three construction workers injured. According to authorities, the wind picked up and threw a concrete form onto three nearby workers. These forms each measure somewhere between 25 and 30 feet long.

One of the three workers was conscious and complaining of severe back pain before he was taken to the hospital with the other two workers. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

5 Children Killed by Crane Accident

In China, a construction site near a kindergarten had a crane malfunction and crash. This crane fell onto the roof of the kindergarten causing severe damage to the roof of the school.

During the accident, 5 children who were outside were killed by falling rocks. Many more children and the crane operator were injured and transported to the hospital. The accident has been attributed to poor safety precautions.

Pilot Injured in Plane Crash

In Fullerton, California, a pilot crashed his single engine plane just after taking off. According to police, the plane veered to the left and crashed just after leaving the runway.

The pilot suffered a broken arm, two broken legs, facial lacerations and other injuries. He is, however, expected to survive. The pilot was alone in the plane, and there was nobody on the ground to get injured. The cause of the crash has not been released.
