In Tennessee, a man fell to his death on a construction site. The man was apparently trying to hook himself to a safety rope when he lost his balance and fell 20 to 25 feet off the roof.

The police are investigating the incident, but may be slow going as they had another 911 call that same morning. The first call involved an alleged murder/suicide.

Pitbull Attacks up from Last Year

Posted on Friday, November 7th, 2008 at 3:11 am

In Indianapolis, pitbull attacks on people have increased from 19% of all dog attacks to 25% of all dog attacks. Because these attacks have become so frequent, public officials have pushed to ban pitbulls within the city. However, they have held off on this.

Instead, the maximum fines for pitbull attacks have increased from $2500 to $7500. While advocacy groups for pitbulls argue that the figures may be misrepresented because of their bad reputation, it is accurate to say that there are pitbulls and other dogs that will attack people.

These attacks, whether by pitbulls or not, can be very dangerous. If you or someone you know has been attacked by a dog, contact the Green Bay personal injury attorneys of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at 800-757-8644.
