Man Dies in Snowmobile Crash
Posted on Tuesday, January 27th, 2009 at 7:35 am
Just before 6pm on Sunday, a man was involved in a snowmobile accident in the town of Holland. The accident involved the man going off the trail and hitting a tree. He was later found by another snowmobiler.
An autopsy of the man showed that he had a BAC of 0.36 at the time of death. This is well over four times the legal limit for operating any motor vehicle. The autopsy also showed that he died shortly after the crash.

Man Seriously Injured After Dog Bite
Posted on Monday, January 19th, 2009 at 8:01 am
A 73-year-old man was attacked by a neighbor’s Pitbull and suffered severe leg injuries. Apparently, the dog has bitten the man several times and nothing has been done to contain the animal.
The dog is 5-years-old, and bit the man around 7:30p.m that evening. At one point, a knife was used by the victim in attempt to fight the dog, and to get him to release the hold on his calf, but the dog did not let go right away.
The victim was transferred to a local hospital, and the dog was taken away by local authorities. Its fate has not yet been determined.
Obviously, the victim has rights to receive compensation from the owner of the Pit bull for his injuries and suffering. If you have been attacked by an animal, and nothing has been done, you need to contact your Greenbay personal injury attorney at 800-242-2874 to get help right away.
Former Bar Owner Convicted of Negligence after Fire Stunt
Posted on Monday, January 12th, 2009 at 6:01 am
Ward was convicted Friday for the negligent use of fire, and faces up to 3 ½ years in prison. While performing the popular stunt, which goes in accordance to Johnny Cash’s song “Ring of Fire,” the bottle of alcohol exploded.
Judge Kendall Kelley of the Brown County Circuit admitted two, Green Bay Fire Department officers as witnesses, who had warned Ward about the dangerous stunt. The matter was then elevated to criminal negligence as prosecutors argued Ward was aware of the dangers and disregarded the warnings.
A plea agreement was reached. Ward was able to plead ‘no contest.’
An injury like this one will take a lot of time, and also cost a great deal of emotional strain before the healing process begins. If you or a loved one has suffered on account of another’s negligence, contact your personal injury lawyer at 800-242-2874.
