Lead Paint in Children’s Products

Posted on Monday, June 8th, 2009 at 6:58 am

In 2007, Mattel recalled thousands of toys because they contained high amounts of lead in their paint. This lead based paint poses a huge health risk to children who play with the toys.

Lead can lead to terrible medical conditions when ingested. Since young children often put their toys in their mouths, any toy with lead based paint on it can be incredibly dangerous.
