Wrongful death suit filed in death of infant at child care center

Posted under Uncategorized

5-month old Grant Ogden was found dead in his crib at the Little Wonders Day Care center in Wisconsin in May of 2007.  The center had previously been issued a number of violations of caregiver guildelines by the state.

The infant's parents, Craig and Georgia Ogden, filed a civil wrongful death lawsuit against the day care center's owner, Patricia Frasier.  The Ogden's became unhappy with Little Wonders only two months after enrolling Grand and their 4-year old daughter, Lilyann, at the center.  Grant's parents had decided to enroll him and Lilyann in a different center just before his death.

Fraiser found the infant not breathing and unresponsive.  Grant passed away an hour after arriving at the hospital.  The day care center was closed the day after his death and Frasier's license was revoked.
