Tires fly off semi-truck, hit car

Posted under Uncategorized

A Dodge Neon driven by 29-year old James Likeric was hit by two-semi truck tires Tuesday morning after a semi-truck traveling in the southbound lanes of Highway 41 spontaneously lost two of its tires.  The accident occurred just outside of Allentown, Wisconsin.

Likeric and his wife, 30-year old Karina Likeric, were rescued from their vehicle by paramedics using the jaws of life.  The two were transported to Hartford Memorial Hospital and released soon after.

Officials are currently unsure of what caused the tires to fly off of the semi-truck and into Likeric's vehicle.  The Wisconsin State Patrol will be investigating the accident to determine if the truck's manufacturer, tire manufacturer, truck owner or driver should be held liable.
