Four people were injured in a two-vehicle truck accident yesterday morning on Highway 63 in St. Croix County. The accident occurred on the 900 block of the highway just north of Baldwin when a milktruck traveling in the southbound lanes collided head-on with a Toyota van traveling in the northbound lanes.
Police reports state that the accident happened at around 4:30 A.M in the highway's southbound lanes. The driver of the van, 46-year old True Vangh, was thrown out of the vehicle. Paramedics rushed the driver to Regions Medical Center where was listed as being in critical condition. The van's front seat passenger was also taken to the hospital listed in serious condition and a 4-year old passenger was taken to Gillett Children's Hospital with unknown injuries.
The truck driver was treated at the scene of the accident for minor injuries. Investigators from multiple police departments and agencies are investigating the accident.
