Last month, a 12-vehicle accident on U.S. 41 in Appleton left six people injured. Two semi-trucks and 10 other vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to accident reports, the accident occurred near Richmond Street at around 12 P.M. "Right now, the cause is under investigation. We are still trying to determine if there was one or multiple accidents that occurred," said Sgt. Pat DeWall.
A Malone woman was most seriously injured in the accident. Paramedics transported the woman to Theda Clark in a helicopter. Five other people were taken to area hospitals in ambulances. The injured included a 58-year old Green Bay man, a 58-year old Oshkosh man, and 43-year old Suamico woman.
