This weekend, the Green Bay YWCA held a holiday fundraiser called “Jingle in the Water.”

Swimmers attended the event on Saturday to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation.  The Green Bay YWCA partnered with the organization to hold the fundraiser.

According to organizers of “Jingle in the Water,” being in water and swimming help relieve joint pain for people suffering from arthritis; warm water reduces pressure within the joints and eases pain.

Many of the swimmers taking part in the fundraiser dressed for the holidays with decorated swim suits and accessories.  The proceeds from the event will go towards arthritis research and education.
