Last week, Build-A-Bear Workshop announced it will be recalling almost 300,000 teddy bears that were sold online and in stores throughout the United States and Canada from April to December.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission states that the “Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears” pose a choking hazard to young children because the eyes could become loose and fall out. No injuries have been reported due to the recall.

“Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears” are white with multicolored hearts on the body. Customers who bought the teddy bear can return it to any Build-A-Bear Workshop location for a coupon on any stuffed animal.
