Tomah boy recovers from dog attack

Posted under Green Bay dog bite attorneys

A seven year-old boy from Tomah has returned home this week after spending four days in the hospital. The boy was mauled by a pit bull outside of his home last week and received more than 100 stitches and staples on his neck, head, and arms.

According to the boy’s mother, he was outside riding his bike in the driveway when a stray pit bull approached him, bit down on his neck, and wouldn’t let go. She says she kicked the dog off of her son and shielded him until an ambulance arrived.

Neighbors told authorities the dog often roamed the neighborhood and that people would sometimes feed it. The pit bull has since been euthanized.
