Four receive medical attention after three-vehicle crash in Racine

Posted under Car Accidents

A three-vehicle crash at South Green Bay Road and Byrd Avenue in Racine, Wisconsin occurred last Tuesday, April 2 and caused four residents to be hospitalized after incurring multiple injuries.

Racine Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Jessie Metoyer identified the victims as Ronn Ishman, 68-year-old Glover Kidd, Jr., and two teenage girls driving with Kidd at the time of the accident.

According to Metoyer, Kidd tried to turn left toward Byrd Avenue from the southbound lanes of Green Bay Road when Ishman’s vehicle smashed into Kidd’s Cadillac. The Cadillac subsequently crashed into another vehicle that was heading west but had been stopped at a Byrd Avenue stop sign.

Ishman suffered from a broken nose, bruises, and a swollen eye as a result of the auto accident. Kidd and the two teenage girls with him were immediately brought to the nearest hospital so that they could be given prompt medical attention.
