On Saturday, January 18, a group of survivors from Asiana Airlines flight 214 filed a personal injury lawsuit against the airplane’s manufacturer, Boeing, in the Cook County Circuit Court.
The July 6, 2013 plane crash killed 3 people and injured 304 people. The crash occurred as flight 214 landed at San Francisco International Airport. Victims were rushed to local hospitals for immediate care.
The plaintiffs claim that Boeing should have been aware that the auto-throttle control and low-airspeed warning systems were defective.
