Evanston resident Maureen Drzewiecki sustained injuries after her car was rear-ended in Ephraim, Wisconsin around 6 p.m. on August 10, the Green Bay Press Gazette reported.
According to a Door County Sheriff’s Department accident report, Drzewiecki was headed north on Wisconsin Highway 42, south of Hidden Spring road, when a car driven by Evanston local Sophia Graham hit her from behind. The drivers parked their cars out of the roadway so as not to disrupt traffic.
Drzewiecki’s front-seat passenger, identified as Mary Frances Drzewiecki, also suffered from minor physical wounds. Graham and her four passengers were not harmed, and she was cited for inattentive driving.
