Twenty-eight-year-old Wausau, Wisconsin resident Jesse Kropp is facing felony charges – operating a motor vehicle without a valid license causing death, and negligent operation of a vehicle – in relation to a fatal Labor Day weekend car accident, according to greenbaypressgazette.com.
The accident occurred on Aug. 30, 2014 at around 9:40 a.m. about a half mile west of Highway 32 in Townsend. According to investigations made by the local police, Johnny Rusch was driving a Chevrolet Impala northbound on County Highway T when Kropp’s southbound Chevrolet Trailblazer traversed the centerline and crashed into his vehicle. The accident claimed the life of the 67-year-old Townsend local. Kropp’s license was suspended after he suffered from a seizure earlier in the year.
A preliminary hearing for Kropp’s case is scheduled for Friday, December 12.
