No charges for Caitlyn Jenner after multi-vehicular accident

Posted under Car Accidents

Sixty-five-year-old retired American athlete and reality television star Caitlyn Jenner will not face charges in the fatal four-vehicle crash that happened along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California on Feb. 7, 2015, according to an announcement from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office issued on September 30.

After evaluating the charges and circumstances of the collision, prosecutors indicated that there was not enough proof to declare that Jenner’s driving had been negligent at the time of the incident and that, therefore, charges of vehicular manslaughter were unwarranted.

Jenner’s legal counsel, Blair Berk, welcomed the development, saying they “believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing.”
