Drunk driver crashes into Pulaski garage

Posted under Car Accidents

A 24-year-old man was heading east into the village of Pulaski, Wisconsin when drove his pickup truck over the center line and into the garage of a resident in the 300 block of West Pulaski Street at around 3 a.m. on Saturday, November 21.

The man was brought to the Brown County Jail and charged with a first offense of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was issued other traffic and municipal citations, as well.

Members of the Pulaski Police Department, Tri-County Fire Department, N.E.W. Rescue, and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident scene. A press release from the Pulaski Police Department stated that the man was treated at the scene of the accident by crew members of N.E.W. Rescue for non-life-threatening injuries.

Thankfully, the injuries sustained in this drunk driving accident were minor, but in far too many instances, innocent and unsuspecting motorists are forced to suffer serious injuries and financial losses because of the inexcusable negligence of an intoxicated motorist.
