Man Seriously Injured After Dog Bite

by Administrator 19. January 2009 08:01
A 73-year-old man was attacked by a neighbor’s Pitbull and suffered severe leg injuries.  Apparently, the dog has bitten the man several times and nothing has been done to contain the animal.

The dog is 5-years-old, and bit the man around 7:30p.m that evening.  At one point, a knife was used by the victim in attempt to fight the dog, and to get him to release the hold on his calf, but the dog did not let go right away.

The victim was transferred to a local hospital, and the dog was taken away by local authorities.  Its fate has not yet been determined.

Obviously, the victim has rights to receive compensation from the owner of the Pit bull for his injuries and suffering.  If you  have been attacked by an animal, and nothing has been done, you need to contact your Greenbay personal injury attorney at 800-242-2874 to get help right away.

Woman Sent to Hospital After Accident

by Administrator 2. November 2007 06:11
In Tulsa Oklahoma was driving the other night in a construction zone and ended up being sent to the hospital after being involved in a traffic incident. The police are saying that the woman drove through a barricade into a construction zone where she ended up driving her car into a police barricade. The construction was to widen a street. As this accident took place on Halloween, the Tulsa police believe there might have been alcohol involved in the accident. Luckily for all, it was a single-car accident. If your or someone you know has been injured in a car accident, contact the personal-injury lawyers of Habush Habush and Rottier in Green Bay.

3 Charged with Driving Under the Influence

by Administrator 31. October 2007 07:10
Overnight in Pensacola, Florida, 3 people were charged with driving under the influence in addition to numerous other felony arrests including, but not limited to, drug posession, arson, interference with custody, and driving with a suspended license.  The 3 charged with DUIs were Jorge Ramos (48), Tanya Funk (37), and Sean Wooford. It is lucky that these people were stopped, arrested, and then charged with DUIs rather than having them hit another car instead.  If you or someone you know has been hit by a drunk driver, contact the personal-injury lawyers of Habush Habush and Rottier in Green Bay.

NE Wisconsin Man Pleads Not Guilty in Fatal DUI Crash

by Administrator 3. October 2007 04:10

Everyone seemingly understands how dangerous it is to drink and drive, and most people heed the advice to simply not do it.  However, the problem is that even if you do not drive after drinking, you never know if everyone else on the road is following the law.  Tragically, the family of a Green Bay couple found out that at least one area man was breaking the law on August 27.

The Appleton Post-Crescent reported that Richard Ware of Gillett pleaded not guilty to charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and other charges.  Ware allegedly was driving drunk in an accident that killed James Tyndall and his wife, Laura.

“Ware’s car went into a ditch and hit a power pole, but he was not injured, according to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department. The driver of the semi and his 11-year-old son, who was a passenger, also were not hurt.Ware is charged with two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, operating while under the influence and other violations. He entered his plea Monday in Shawano County Circuit Court, and a jury trial has been set for March 5.”

Despite the tragedy that unfolded here, the families of the deceased do have legal rights available to them.  If you or someone you love has been injured or killed in an auto accident, contact the Green Bay personal injury lawyers at Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. to schedule a free initial consultation 800-242.2874
