Home > FAQs > Responsabilities Of Manufacturer

What are the responsibilities of a defective product manufacturer or seller?

Under Wisconsin law, the manufacturer and seller of a product have a responsibility to consider the safety of the consumer when they are making decisions concerning product design and function. If a product is ‘defective’ or if there is a failure to use reasonable care during the design and manufacturing processes, the manufacturer and seller are responsible for injuries that are caused by using the product.
