A 45-year-old Rock County woman, traveling northbound on Wisconsin 59, lost control of her vehicle and slid across the center line of the road where she collided with another vehicle. She was later pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the accident, but road and weather conditions, speed, and alcohol seem to be the main factors that contributed to the accident.
