Police investigators have reported that three people were killed and one person was left in critical condition after a fiery car accident that occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, December 31 at around 4:30 p.m. on County NN near State 96 in the town of Morrison in Brown County, Wisconsin.

According to preliminary investigations made by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo occupied by two men from De Pere, ages 21 and 22, was headed north on County NN when it lost control and skidded into the path of an oncoming minivan occupied by a 63-year-old man from Denmark and his 59-year-old wife. Upon impact, the minivan caught on fire and the two occupants had to be pulled from the wreckage by an off-duty sheriff’s deputy.

The two De Pere men died instantly during the collision, while the other driver was transported to a Green Bay hospital and later died of his injuries. His wife was also transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where she is still listed in critical condition.
