Five hurt in Brown County two-vehicle collision

Posted under Car Accidents

Five people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday, February 17, at around 9:10 a.m. at the intersection of County S and County U at the Brown County-Outagamie County border in Wisconsin. According to Wisconsin State Patrol Sergeant Luke Newman, a sport utility vehicle traveling south on County U did not stop at a stop sign, subsequently causing a T-bone accident with a car that was headed east on County S.

The driver of the struck vehicle, identified as 40-year-old New London resident Rebecca Van Haren, was ejected from her vehicle, which flipped over and came to rest at a stop on its roof.

The other four victims, who were said to be New London residents and who were trapped inside the overturned vehicle, were transported to Green Bay hospitals with their conditions unknown.
